The New Year is quickly approaching and that means it is time to celebrate! There are several excellent, family-friendly ways for residents in the Edmonton area to celebrate New Year’s Eve this year. Countdown at the Conservatory
Where: Muttart Conservatory 9626 – 96A Street, Edmonton, AB
When: Monday, December 31st, 2018 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
What: The first New Year’s Eve event that we want to highlight begins at 10:00 at the Muttart Conservatory. The Countdown at the Conservatory event will feature excellent activities for visitors to take part in including a variety of crafts, planting activities, and hourly countdowns to celebrate the New Year!
New Year’s Eve Family Beach Ball
Where: World Waterpark in West Edmonton Mall, 8882 – 170 Street NW #1338, Edmonton, AB
When: Monday, December 31st, 2018 at 6:00 PM
What: The next Edmonton area New Year’s celebration we will highlight is the New Year’s Eve Family Beach Ball event. This event will take place inside World Waterpark at the West Edmonton Mall. Attendees will be able to enjoy live music, great food, and a beautiful indoor firework display to cap off the celebration!
New Year’s Eve Downtown Festival & Fireworks!
Where: Alberta Legislature Grounds, 10800 – 97 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB
When: Monday, December 31st, 2018 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Fireworks at 9:00 PM)
What: Another terrific New Year’s Eve event taking place in Edmonton this year is the New Year’s Eve Downtown Festival & Fireworks! This event features several excellent attractions the entire family will love including live music and roving performers. The night finishes off with a wonderful fireworks display beginning at 9:00 PM.
NEON New Year’s Eve Party
Where: Fun Park Amusement Center, 3001 Buckingham Drive #180, Sherwood Park, AB
When: Monday, December 31st, 2018 from 8:00 PM – 12:30 AM
What: The final New Year’s Eve event that we will explore is the NEON New Year’s Eve Party. This event will be taking place at the Fun Park Amusement Center in Sherwood Park, AB. Visitors will be able to participate in a variety of tremendous activities including unlimited jump time, laser tag, and a live DJ.
