About Edmonton’s Food Bank 

Hunger is a significant issue in Edmonton, especially during the winter months. Many people in the city rely upon the kindness of others for food during the holiday season. Edmonton’s Food Bank is devoted to making sure people throughout Edmonton have something to eat during the holidays. Every month, Edmonton’s Food Bank provides 22,000 people with food hampers and over 500,000 meals and snacks to people in the community. About 40% of the people served by Edmonton’s Food Bank are children under the age of 18.
