Halloween is fast approaching here in Edmonton, AB. There are few cities in Canada that celebrate Halloween the way that Edmonton does! Let’s take a look at some of the best ways to celebrate Halloween in Edmonton this year!

World’s Largest Trick or Treat Festival 

Where: West Edmonton Mall, 8882 170 St NW, Edmonton, AB 

When: Wednesday, October 31st from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM 

What: The West Edmonton Mall is home to The World’s Largest Trick or Treat Festival. This trick-or-treating event will allow kids 13 years old and younger to trick-or-treat in a fun, safe, and warm environment. Participating children and their parents will be able to pick up their candy bag and map from Guest Services or six other pickup locations inside the mall. 

West Edmonton Mall Fright Night 

Where: West Edmonton Mall, 8882 170 St NW, Edmonton, AB 

When: Saturday, October 27th from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM 

What: Galaxyland, located at Level One, Phase II in the West Edmonton Mall, is hosting their annual Fright Night on the Saturday prior to Halloween. This event will feature music and unlimited rides for attendees to enjoy. Other great features of Fright Night include: 

  • Live, On-Site DJ From Hot 107 
  • Costume Contest 
  • Haunted House 
  • On-Site Special Effects 

Tickets for this event are $25 each and can be purchased from Guest Services or online at a 10% discount. 

Adults Only Trick-or-Treat Night 

Where: Muttart Conservatory, 9626 – 96A St, Edmonton, AB 

When: Wednesday, October 31st from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM 

What: Halloween falls on a Wednesday this year. That means that, as Muttart Conservatory frequent visitors know, Halloween lines up with Muttart After Dark. To celebrate Halloween, the Muttart Conservatory will feature Adults Only Trick-or-Treat Night. Visitors can win prizes for their unique costumes and trick-or-treat while enjoying pumpkin-flavoured beer and drink specials at Culina.
